The Cypher
Society. Society Has Evolved.
MEMBERS
The Cypher Society is now ready for members in the Tampa Bay area.
Although we were founded in 1993 as the Frontier Society, we had a small
membership in 1998 when our first web site, Colony Alpha, was online,
and had a team of people for several years before going into another development
phase.
Although we retain the rights to the Frontier Society branding, we were
renamed the Cypher Society in July, 2017, as we finalized support infrastructure
for the comprehensive future of our underground cyber subculture organization.
Starting in the Fall of 2017, we will be aggressively recruiting new members
to fill our ranks. The members of the Cypher Society will cover a wide
range of interests and backgrounds, with some common things in common;
our members must be gifted creatively, analytically, socially, or scholastically,
preferably all of these factors, and need to be able to think for themselves
and stand up for what they believe in. Our people need to be well grounded
with solid self esteem and character.
We are a networking organization and a society think tank. All of our
members collaborate and mutually benefit.
Additionally, members of the Cypher Society all have the opportunity to
collaborate and to contribute to many projects and opportunities. As one
example, members of the Cypher Society are able to contribute to and write
for Frontier Pop, Tampa Bay’s top pop culture and entertainment
publication.
The Cypher Society has two web site specifically to recruit new members,
both from the general population and the professional community.
Because we are an underground subculture, we encourage our members to
adopt pseudonyms for use with our organization, and to isolate what they
do here from what they do online under their real names.
